The low cost way to stay informed
When you sign up for Text Someone, your school, as well as getting a number pupils can text, phone or email to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week you will also get assistance with promoting the service to pupils with downloadable posters and press releases for your local newspapers, radio or TV.
Alongside this you will get access to the Text Someone system which will display in real-time all the messages you have received and allow you to make notes next to the message as to the next action taken.
Receiving and sending messages
Each time you receive a text message from a pupil, the pupil will receive automatic confirmation back to them to confirm receipt of the message, thereby reassuring the pupil you school is in receipt of their text message. This will cost your school just 6 pence. (Emails are free, phone calls are charged at local rate to the person making the call) In addition you can use the system to have a Text message conversation with the pupil (each message sent will cost just 6 pence). These chargeable messages will be billed to your school on a monthly basis.
