Truancy Call Ltd. began in December 2000, with the launch of a product in the same name www.truancycall.com a system which automatically contacts parents when their children are absent from school by phone, text message and email – and requests a reason for this absence. The system is now used in hundreds of schools and has assisted those schools in reducing the number of unauthorised absences they have, improved punctuality and provided parents with the peace of mind that they will be informed the very same day when their child is absent from school.

Call Parents
Following the success of the product Truancy Call and based on feedback from schools, Call Parents (www.callparents.com) was introduced to assist schools in improving their communication with parents. Groups of parents can be contacted by phone, text message and email to keep them informed about school closure, cancellations or delays to events, test and exam date reminders, upcoming special school events, invitations to a meeting, report cards sent home, Parents evening, returning from a school trip…the uses are limitless.

This solution allows schools to offer pupils the chance to text, email or call 24 hours a day 7 days a week, to report any problems they may have. Once the school has received the message they can then take the appropriate action.
